Born in Cúcuta, Colombia, and raised in the cultural melting pot of South Florida, Perez Silva’s journey began not in the arts, but in the pool—representing Colombia as an award-winning swimmer on the national team. Following a major surgery that ended his athletic career, he redirected his passion and discipline toward photography.

His rise in the creative industry was solidified after shooting MAC Cosmetics' 25th Anniversary Viva Glam campaign with Winnie Harlow, a breakthrough moment that positioned him as one of the most sought-after photographers working today. Known for his bold, edgy aesthetic, Perez Silva is often called upon by celebrities and brands undergoing high-profile rebrands.

Beyond the lens, he’s an avid surfer, menswear enthusiast, and dedicated activist—working closely with scoliosis patients to raise awareness and provide support. Occasionally, he steps in front of the camera himself, collaborating with brands through creative partnerships.
